Cuban Five Controversy
Ned Cuddy writes:
Dear Peacemakers,
You might have read the BN letter (10/25), by Jim Costa, "' Cuban Five' were spies
who deserved prison," denouncing my Viewpoints article "Saga of the 'Cuban Five' is
an American tragedy." The bad news is that many more people read the BN letters than
the Sunday "Viewpoints" section. The good news is that the Costa letter gives activists a
chance to pierce the conspirancy of silence, aided and abetted by the U.S. government
and the mainstream media.
As the author, I am not eligible to respond to the Costa letter. In the hope that some of you will take up the gauntlet or at least tune into this monumental injustice keeping the Cubans prison over 13 years and continuing.
I have attached statements, item by item, challenging his distortions regarding my article and the propgaganda keeping the five Cuban citizens in chains.
You can google both my article and Costa's letter, then Open "Saga of the Cuban Five is
an Americana tragedy," and then open "Cuban Five were spies who deserved prison." You
can also download my attachment to get an idea of my counterarguments challenging
the Costa letter. ( See links below: Ed. )
